Continuing Education

Continuing education is a vital component to providing the best orthodontic care, and Dr. Gruber is committed to staying up to date with the newest, most effective, and most comfortable treatment for his patients. Dr. Gruber participates in courses through Eugene Williamson, trained in straight-wire technology with Larry Andrews, and studied mechanic therapy with Thomas Mulligan, and most recently he has studed the Roncone Orthodontic method in Vista, CA.. He is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, Roth Williams International, and the Gnathos Orthodontic Study Club.

Outside the Office

A native of Collinsville, Illinois, Dr. Gruber resides in Olney. He has three grown children: Kristin, who is a dental hygienist; Brian, an orthopedic surgeon; and Michelle, who is an attorney. Dr. Gruber also has five grandchildren — Isabella, Dean, John, Danica, and Francis — a dog named Ollie, and a cat named Winston.

When Dr. Gruber isn’t crafting beautiful smiles, he enjoys gardening, sports, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
